We started Ema with the conviction that AI agents will reshape how people get work done — from fragmented, manual work to agents that understand intent and act on your behalf.
To build that future, we need to combine breakthrough AI with the discipline and precision of world-class engineering. That’s why we’re thrilled to welcome Suresh Parameshwar to Ema as our new Head of Engineering.
Suresh joins us after a 25-year career building and scaling complex systems at Microsoft and, most recently, at Productiv, where he led engineering through the 0-to-1 phase and beyond. He’s not just seen scale; he’s built it from the ground up, in some of the most technically demanding environments in the industry.
At Microsoft, Suresh led the development of the messaging and presence infrastructure for Skype and Microsoft Teams, features that were deployed globally to hundreds of millions of users.
At Productiv, he helped define an entirely new category — SaaS Management — building a platform that now handles billions of real-time data points across thousands of applications. In his six years as VP of Engineering, Productiv grew from an idea into a foundational tool used by enterprise IT teams at some of the world’s most sophisticated companies.
Suresh is a systems thinker who doesn’t lose the human thread, an idea at the core of what Ema is building. His teams consistently deliver with urgency and depth, not by adding headcount, but by building strong primitives: reusable components, clean abstractions, and a culture of debugging rigorously and shipping thoughtfully. He was the second employee at Productiv and grew the team into a large-scale platform that could power entire IT departments with confidence.
“Over the past few years, I have been watching Ema and the agentic AI space with growing excitement,” said Suresh Parameshwar. “I’m thrilled to join this talented team in building the enterprise of the future.”
At Ema, Suresh will help us scale our engineering systems as we work with best-in-class customers like TP, KPMG, Hitachi, and many more. He’ll ensure that Ema’s AI Employees are the most reliable, secure, and accurate at a massive scale.
We’re building the AI employees of the future. That requires a technical stack that’s both highly dynamic and deeply trustworthy. With Suresh, we’re excited to make that leap.
Welcome aboard, Suresh!
